Our company

The Mighty Ray Gun has been a web presence for a while, most notably since about 2008 when our trusty picture snapper was set loose on the mountain bike world to do his best in capturing the lesser spotted biker. Its been a slow but fun process, including our first magazine spreads, bad weather, lots of miles and even more learning.

But the MRG was never just about taking pictures....... The Mighty Ray Gun is about the lifestyle choice of outdoor living and outdoor challenges. MRG is realising that you may have to be the 9 to 5 suit that you swore you'd never be. But only because your mortgage company rather like the salary. The MRG is being who you really are outside of the corporate clock. 

The MRG is recognising that the world isn't a better place because your Range Rover matches your top spec bike (that's never been dirty), but it is a dramatically better place when you've nailed the descent of a life time on the kit you built with your own efforts. Don't get us wrong, we're not against money or nice kit. We're against all those that think life is about buying the accessories. 

The MRG is the recognition of knowing that challenging yourself is the way to a better outlook. Pushing yourself, challenging the norm. Not giving in to sofa time every time....... We can't all climb Everest. Not all of us will see the North Pole in the (frozen) flesh. But we can all get out and walk, or ride, or push or something. Its a big wonderful world and even 3d TV won't bring it into your lounge.....
